Robert Szydło
Robert Szydło is a well respected bass player, producer and sound engineer from Poland. He has been performing professionally on acoustic and electric bass guitars for over 30 years.

In addition to writing and recording his own musical projects he has had the privilege of playing with many top Polish artists, performing various styles of music, including touring with famous Polish singers such as Mieczysław Szcześniak (Polish representative in international Eurovision Contest), Katarzyna Groniec, Tatiana Okupnik and Krystyna Prońko.

He has also been producing and playing bass in the band Mikromusic. Robert recorded and toured with multi-golden-record-bands Wolna Grupa Bukowina and Stare Dobre Malzenstwo.

As a sideman he enjoyed playing with great Polish jazz legends including Wojciech Karolak, Tomasz Szukalski at the same time taking part in creating the new generation of young Polish jazz, playing and recording with bands such as Feeling Station and Chromosomos.

Robert has taken part in most of the important Polish music events (International and national TV festivals at Sopot and Opole) jazz & blues festivals, national TV and national radio concerts and visited many countries on tour with different bands - Japan, USA, UK, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, France, Moldova, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Hungary & Macedonia.

As a bass player he recorded over 70 records with various artists. The album "An Unbelievable Silence" by Acoustic Harmony (with Artur Lesicki) won as the best jazz album in this year's "Gitara i Bas" readers' poll and Robert Szydło won in the "other styles" category as the best jazz acoustic bass player.

As a producer and engineer, Robert produced and mixed many records for different record labels
(i.e. Universal, EMI). He also wrote a bass column for the "Obszary Dzwieku" music magazine.
